Junior Events Coordinator

Our mission is to create bold, immersive experiences that dazzle audiences and create a strong connection between physical and digital experiences.  We are looking for an innovative and detail oriented Special Events Coordinator to work hand in hand with our Special Events Manager to execute our company’s event strategy and implementation.

We are currently looking to expand our roster of passionate and dynamic team members. The position would be filled on a project to project basis, as per our needs. Duration of contracts could range from 4 weeks up to 6 months.

The ideal candidate will embody a pitch perfect harmony between creative and operational—capable of following and supporting the vision while possessing an uncanny knack for details. This role requires an unabashed problem solver, a confident multi-tasker, experienced in creating event documentation and managing event executions—from dealing with vendors and entertainment to fearlessly brainstorming with the entire team to develop the unforgettable.

Your Mission Should You Choose To Accept It:

  • Manage all event documentation, from budgets, receipts, contracts, contact lists, guest lists, etc.
  • Review and synthesize all event information (contracts, Run of Show, etc)
  • Maintain tight control over every minute detail of an event and its execution
  • Solve problems as they come up through production and execution event phases
  • Recognize issues and alert the Special Events Manager when appropriate
  • Assist in managing and overseeing third party vendors and production teams
  • Assist in the setup, management and breakdown of events
  • Assist in ideating and developing concepts for advertiser, branding and marketing events

From Within Your Arsenal:

  • 1-3 years of events experience, including events execution
  • An acute passion for details
  • Interest and keen eye for design and decor
  • You’re the most organized person you know
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • Strong knowledge of the standard MS Office products suite
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint a plus
  • An amazing ability to prioritize, multi-task and stay calm under pressure
  • Familiarity working in a fast-paced, demanding and deadline-driven environment
  • Incredible communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident in vendor negotiations
  • A strong understanding of and passion for the UD brand
